Jim Keddy

Singer/songwriter

Jim Keddy is a singer/songwriter living in Northern California. His music brings together elements of folk, rock and country and his lifelong love of poetry and storytelling. In November of 2024, he released his debut solo album, Colors Inside, on Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming platforms.  In 2025, Jim worked with indie folk producer Dominic Romano to release his single Young Friend. In February of 2026, Jim partnered with Dominic again to release Tonight We're Somebodies.

Prior to recording and performing as a solo artist, Jim performed in and wrote songs for two popular Sacramento-area bands, the country rock band Rooster and the neo-soul trio Nia and the Big Kids. In these bands, Jim played in some of the region's top venues, including the Torch Club and SacYard Brewing, as well as in city-sponsored events in the Bay Area and Roseville.

As a young person, Jim learned classical guitar and came to love the music of the French Impressionists, including Satie and Ravel, Bach, and the Brazilian composer Heiter Villa-Lobos.

Please join Jim in his musical journey by following him on Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming platforms, Instagram and YouTube. Thanks for listening!
